Khiara Rossi is one of the Directors on the Board for 20k Watts. She, for many years, has always had a passion in helping others and working with children and their families in need. Before her involvement with 20K Watts she volunteered for 11 years as a camp counselor for the San Pedro YMCA resident camps. Her passion ended up over flowing into her work life, and she became an assistant manager at a party venue for children. When her oldest brother, Ryan, and father, Leo, came back from there 1st ever trip to El Salvador, they shared the stories and pictures of people living in extreme poverty and in such despair. The Rossi family knew, at that point, they needed to get involved and help in any way they could. Soon after, 20K Watts was born. But tragedy struck in short time when Ryan, who took on the first trip and Co Founded 20K Watts, passed away from cancer. Khiara would not let her brother and families dream die with him, and soon became more involved in running them to success. She is now on the board of directors, putting together fundraisers, charity buzzes, organizing, assisting, and taking trips to make personal deliveries to the villages and poverty in need.
